Married since 1964

Retired May 2005 from LSU as Poet-in-Residence. Author of four books of poetry, most recently from LSU Press, and recipient of Governor's Arts Award for Professional Artist of the Year in Louisiana

Husband - Tom Owen, Harvard Ph.D.  He is also retired from LSU as Russian History Professor

International Travel - Europe and Morocco, including five trips to Russia, a trip around the world for our 60th birthdays to Greece, Egypt, Turkey, China and Japan, and to India for our 40th anniversary. 

Trips since 2005 - Paris; Denmark, Sweden and Finland; Switzerland; South America; and to Holland and Norway for our 45th anniversary.

Current Activities - Sue: Member of New England Poetry Club and PEN New England. Tom: Associate of the Davis Russian Research Center at Harvard.
